  Some of the Old G & D's classic dishes to be featured on the June menu will be - Gratin of blue swimmer crab,shellfish chowder,  MacLeay Valley rabbit with marjoram and mustard, Braised oxtail, Roast saddle of hare, slow cooked beef cheeks with mash  & all time favourite  Ian's twice cooked Redgate duck.  

                 

IAN & JENNY MORPHY. CHEF and OWNERS of THE OLD GEORGE & DRAGON RESTAURANT  have a passion for the restaurant industry. They believe that to give a memorable dining experience adds to the quality of one's life and creates bonhomie. For 27years Ian and Jenny,and their charming helpers, have extended their hospitality to all that have entered the lovely former coaching inn (circa 1837).

In 2006 Jenny & Ian received the honour of being inducted into the Restaurant & Catering NSW Roy Adam Hall of Fame


The food has an Anglo/French bias and incorporates the best of local produce together with international luxury food items, a particular emphasis on superb shellfish, game dishes and wonderful sauces.

The winelist is a wine lovers dream. With over 300 wines to choose from including a selection of quality wines by the glass, a half bottle selection and an imported list. No wonder the Old George and Dragons winelist has become legendary.
